Plan for Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Activities (Version 1)

Purpose and Scope of Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan

The main purpose of the current report is to present the actions of TWINN2SET to embrace the public and maximize the impact of the program. Transfer of knowledge and exchange of thoughts, through publications, conferences, workshops and social media are also priorities of TWINN2SET. There are three main sectors in this plan:

• Communication
• Dissemination
• Exploitation

The term communication refers to all the possible actions that need to be taken in order to raise public awareness on issues related to the energy transition such us, Carbon Capture and Storage, Geothermal Energy and Hydrogen as a powerful energy vector. The aim of the Plan is to make the scientific aspect of all these technologies accessible to the non-specialist. Social media, such us Twitter, LinkedIn and the YouTube channel of the project, as tools for public engagement.

The term dissemination refers to the promotion of the project’s results to the scientific community and includes among others, the transfer and exchange of technical and non-technical knowledge through Massive Online Courses (MOOCs), Summer Schools, Publications, workshops, conference participation etc.

The term exploitation refers to the use of results for commercial and societal reasons, including the promotion of technical knowledge of commercial interest and potential uptake of results from the industrial world.

This report also presents an analytical approach of the actions undertaken so far regarding TWINN2SET and those that will take place in a 6-month period.
